Loosening the legs on the last run in Austin before the marathon

Today was a quick workout to keep the legs loose. It was a short half mile warm up followed by 4 miles at marathon goal pace (MGP). The thing I was happy with was the short warmup seemed to be enough to get the legs moving and comfortable with the pace. I’ve been thinking about the marathon and the temperature and howuch of a warmup to do before the race. Looks like I’ll be able to keep it relatively short.

The miles went pretty well. A little fast on the first two miles by locked in pretty well for the last two. All that’s left is making it to Sacramento, resting, getting 4 to 7 miles in on Saturday and then running the race. Game on!
